Flood Assistance

Metco offers disaster relief to members

Members impacted by the floods may be eligible to receive the following types of assistance:

• Free box of checks will be provided to replace any that may have been lost or destroyed.
• No fee stop payments for lost checkbooks.
• Metco debit cards will be replaced free of charge.  If your debit card has been lost please call us to report as soon as possible.
• The early withdrawal penalty will be waived for CDs, allowing instant access to any funds that might have been invested.
• Several emergency flood loan options, including extending a payment on an existing Metco loan for those who qualify.

If you have sustained significant flood damage, you may be eligible for a disaster relief grant through the Iowa Credit Union Foundation.  To apply for this $500 grant, please pickup an application at our office.  Applications must be returned to Metco Credit Union for verification of credit union membership.
